To celebrate a return to the Minnesota State Fair, the University of Minnesota wanted to create a site to promote their presence and events at the Fair. Although the site previously existed, it had not been used in several years and did not meet the current design standards.

The new site needed to use the established Folwell design system to meet branding and accessibility standards for the University. I worked with a graphic designer adjust this system to meet our needs for this site while still maintaining those standards.

It was important for visitors to easily be able to find and sort events or giveaways that they were interested in and allow them to easily remember them with add to calendar options. I created filters using the Drupal Views system show only upcoming events by default, but also to allow users to filter to specific dates if they are looking for something in particular. The add to calendar links were created using a contributed module to allow details from each event to be added to different calendars depending on a user's need.
